1. Introduction
Arclite LLC (“Arclite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our software, integrations, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By connecting your QuickBooks Online account or otherwise using the Service, you consent to the practices described below.
2. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following types of information:
Accounting Data: When you connect QuickBooks Online, Arclite retrieves financial records (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Invoices, Payments, Vendors, Journal Entries) through Intuit’s secure APIs.
Authentication Data: OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens required to maintain the connection to QuickBooks.
User Information: Contact details such as name and email address for support or onboarding purposes.
Usage Data: Non-identifiable technical logs and performance metrics to improve service quality.
We do not collect or store your QuickBooks credentials or passwords.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information collected to:
Provide the Service and connect to QuickBooks Online;
Store, analyze, and report financial data as requested by the user;
Respond to support inquiries;
Maintain, protect, and improve the Service;
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Data Storage and Security
All connections to QuickBooks use secure HTTPS (TLS 1.2+).
Tokens are stored in encrypted form within n8n’s credential vault, and accounting data is stored in Supabase, which uses encryption at rest and row-level security.
Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
We employ regular software updates and monitoring to mitigate vulnerabilities.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service.
When a user disconnects their QuickBooks account or requests deletion:
OAuth tokens are revoked;
Accounting data and associated records are permanently deleted from Supabase and internal systems.
To request deletion, email support@arclitefinance.com.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data.
We may share limited information with:
Service providers (e.g., hosting, data storage, security monitoring) under confidentiality agreements;
Regulators or law enforcement, when legally required.
7. International Data Transfers
Arclite LLC is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data may be processed and stored in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
8. Your Rights
You may request:
Access to your data;
Correction of inaccurate information;
Deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
Contact bcouch@arlite.ai to exercise your rights.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
